The Netcong TNR project is a group effort to manage the feral cat population in the town of Netcong, New Jersey. Trap-Neuter-Return is a humane and effective solution to feral cat overpopulation. The project is made up of Netcong residents, town employees and residents of neighboring towns. Volunteers are welcome at all times. The Netcong TNR project was created based upon the recent and very successful TNR project that is currently ongoing in a town apartment complex. Since the summer of 2009 we have trapped, neutered/spayed and vaccinated over 250 cats, including approx. 75 kittens and/or friendly adult cats that have been removed and place into loving homes.

With winter fast approaching, many people have asked about shelters for their colonies. Below is a list of links to instructions on how to make different types of shelters to keep the kitties warm this winter. The third link is the shelter that is used by Netcong TNR Project.
